The name of this place definitely says it all, this is the spot and the food is great. Service is also very good so if you are into tacos, fajitas, like to only have vegetables or don’t mind having meat as well, then, definitely this is the place I would recommend to try and you will be going back because we definitely are going to go back.
So it’s a definite big YES for recommendation.
The food is good. Prices are decent. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is friendly. Burrito is huge, but they put little meat inside and mainly beans and rice. The place is clean inside. Also, 1 thing I don't like is the to go boxes are made of cardboard material and not plastic, so food gets stuck to the box, and it gets very soggy and can leak out the box.
One of my go to restaurants in Eagle Rock. Nice place to sit down and enjoy your food, inside or outside. Lots of options including vegetarian and kids meals. The flavors are exactly what you would expect. Some reviewers complain about price, but forgot that this place is on Colorado Blvd. I love that they serve breakfast all day.
The best tasteful tacos I've had in a food to go kind of venue, but enough room to dine in with room to spare. Their rice and beans are really good as well. Looking forward to trying their other dishes.
My friend introduced me Taco Spot for vegan tacos a while ago. We finally got a chance to give it a try on a Friday night. Not that many people here dining on a Friday night, assuming many people were out for more of a special dinner.
This is a family/kids friendly place. Most customers are families. Staffs are super nice with great services. There are many vegetarian options and they can be made vegan (leave the cheese out). Unfortunately they do not have non-diary cheese. As other regular Mexican restaurants, there are many delicious salsas for additional taste. Prices are fair considering the portion of food you get. Each dish prices from around $7 to $10. I got veggie taco without cheese. It's 3 tacos with rice and beans. Not a bad deal. The taco is good especially the sautéed spinach adds more interesting texture on it. We also ordered Tofu burrito bowl. Marinated tofu was pretty good. Overall we like the food here. You do need to add salsa into dishes to make it more flavorful, but I think it's still good.
Parking in the rear. And the restroom is unisex. Applause to that.
Staff is kind and friendly, atmosphere is good. My issue is the pricing is very expensive given the food you get. It tastes great, just that 16$ is very steep for just 3 tacos with 9 tiny shrimp
The Al Pastor burrito had way way too much rice. I honestly don’t feel confident commenting on the flavor of the Al Pastor because there was so little meat in the burrito, truly only a couple bits. It was honestly ridiculous; essentially a crazy amount of rice in a tortilla with just a little bit of other ingredients here and there.
I’ve had good carnitas here before but been disappointed by all the meat being at the bottom. That’s hard to control though so I haven’t left a review.
Generally the flavor of the food and service here is good, but the proportion of the ingredients and assembly of the food is not worth the price.
Decent food. Good salsa bar nice and clean. Salsas aren’t great tasting though- good not great. The food is ok not great. The atmosphere is best thing about this place. Cashier did not give me a receipt. And that’s sus.
